Porsche Arrives In Annapolis Aug. 9

Porsche of Annapolis, the only dedicated Porsche dealership and service center in the sate of Maryland, officially opened to the public on Saturday, Aug. 9.

The Porsche of Annapolis team will be on hand Saturday and through the week of Aug. 11, offering tours of the new dealership and providing a host of information to Porsche enthusiasts and Porsche novices alike.

The home of Porsche of Annapolis is a state-of-the-art building located at 20 Hudson Street near the Armory and Harley-Davidson of Annapolis.

Guests arriving at the dealership might first be taken aback by the apparent lack of inventory, as they will see very few Porsches in the parking lot surrounding the store. However, a quick elevator ride to the third story of the building reveals a 13,000 square-foot parking lot, providing a secure location to house inventory and guest vehicles.

Occupying 5,200 square feet, the first-floor showroom will display the latest Porsche models, and by September the new 911 will make its debut in Annapolis.

Additionally, Porsche of Annapolis provides Porsche drivers in and around Annapolis with a certified factory service center. Sixty-seven hundred square feet of the building will be used to service Porsche cars. The shop is complete with six automobile lifts, the latest Hunter alignment machine and the most up-to-date tools and diagnostic equipment available.

The building features are just some of the many reasons to visit the store. The staff of Porsche of Annapolis is comprised of some of the most experienced Porsche experts in the country, including General Sales Manager Frank Danatoni, who was on the team that opened the very first stand-alone Porsche dealership in Newtown Square, P.A., and at least one Porsche Gold Meister certified technician.

Porsche of Annapolis will be operated under the principles of service, passion, integrity and attention to detail, and it promises to truly epitomize the passion and the lifestyle that is Porsche.
